Heidi Carreon is the Communications Assistant for the Annenberg Innovation Lab. Carreon promotes Innovation Lab events, updates the website and manages social media content, analytics and engagement.

A third-year pursuing degrees in Print & Digital Journalism and Political Science, Carreon has been very active in the journalism community since she began her studies at the University of Southern California. On campus, Carreon is on the social media team and contributes content for the USC Annenberg Media Center, and was a reporter for the former Annenberg digital website Neon Tommy before it transitioned into the Media Center. She is also on the digital media mobile team for Daily Trojan.

As a second-generation Filipino American, Carreon has been heavily involved with Asian American community in Los Angeles by being an active member of USC Troy Philippines, communications staff member of Tuesday Night Project and co-student representative of the Asian American Journalists Association, Los Angeles

When she is not chasing stories or in the Lab, Carreon is usually found with the USC Taekwondo Club, pursuing her second-degree black belt.
